How to use it

  1. 01

    Add your files

Drop your photos. HEIC from iPhones works too.

  2. 02

    Check the settings

Pick a destination like Passport photo → US visa or type any width and height, in pixels, mm or inches.

  3. 03

    Save the result

Drag the frame to choose what stays in, then download — exactly the size the form asks for.

Why it doesn’t upload

Passport and ID photos are exactly the kind of image you shouldn’t hand to a random website. Resizing here happens on your device, so your face and documents never touch anyone’s server.

How to check for yourself

Worth knowing

  • Enlarging a small photo adds pixels, not detail — it will look softer. Official photo portals usually reject blurry images.
  • Visa and passport portals also check the photo itself (background, head size, lighting). We get the file size and pixels right; the photo still has to meet their rules.
  • “Crop to fill” uses the frame position you choose on the first image; other images in a batch are cropped from the center.
  • Output is sRGB. Wide-color iPhone photos are converted, which is what portals expect.

Questions

How do I resize a photo to 35×45 mm for a passport?

Choose Passport photo → Schengen, which sets 413×531 pixels — that’s 35×45 mm at 300 dpi. Drag the frame so your head is centerd, then download. You can also switch the unit to mm and type 35 and 45.

What’s the right size for a US visa (DS-160) photo?

A square JPEG between 600×600 and 1200×1200 pixels, no bigger than 240 KB. The US visa preset sets 600×600 and turns on the 240 KB limit for you.

Will resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp — we use high-quality downscaling. Making it bigger can’t invent detail, so enlarged photos look softer.

Can I resize without cropping anything off?

Yes. Leave the aspect ratio locked and the whole picture is scaled down with nothing cut — set the longest side and the other follows. Cropping only happens if you pick a destination whose shape differs from your photo’s, and the frame preview shows exactly what would go before you save.

What size should an Instagram post be?

1080×1350 pixels (4:5) takes up the most room in the feed. 1080×1440 matches the new 3:4 profile grid, and Stories and Reels are 1080×1920. All three are presets above.

How do pixels relate to mm, cm and inches?

Physical sizes depend on DPI. At 300 dpi, 1 inch is 300 pixels and 1 mm is about 11.8 pixels. Change the DPI under Advanced settings if your printer asks for something else.
