About
Suprabhat is a marketer based in India, and the person behind FixMyPDFs. He started it in 2026 after watching a colleague upload a signed contract to a free website to delete two pages from it — a job the browser on her own laptop could have done without the file ever leaving it.
He is not a cryptographer or a PDF engineer, and the site does not pretend otherwise. What he does is pick the jobs worth solving, run real documents through each tool until the output holds up, and write the pages in plain words — what a tool changes, what it leaves alone, and where it will not help. The redaction pages say plainly that a black rectangle drawn over text is not redaction, because that mistake is the one that costs people the most.
Where another tool is the better choice — a scanned archive that needs real OCR, a legal workflow that needs an audit trail — the comparison pages say so instead of pretending this site does everything.

How these pages are made
The rules the site is held to. They are also why some pages do not exist.
- Tested on real documents. A tool gets a page only once it works on real files — scanned invoices, forms with filled fields, encrypted statements, a 400-page report. File sizes and quality figures come from running those files through the tool, not from a library README.
- Nothing is uploaded, and it is checkable. Every tool runs in the browser. That claim is not asked to be taken on trust: the no-upload page shows how to watch the network panel yourself while a file is processed.
- What a tool cannot do is on the page. Each tool page says where it stops — what compression will not shrink, what redaction cannot reach, which PDFs will not unlock. A page that only lists strengths is an advertisement, not a help page.
- Pages are removed, not padded. A job nobody has does not get a page, and nothing is stretched to look thorough. Where two pages would say the same thing, there is one.

Nothing on this site is sponsored, and no one pays to be recommended or compared favorably. There are no ads and no affiliate links. The 5 comparison pages say where another tool is the better choice, which is the only reason a comparison is worth reading. If any of that ever changes, it will be said on the page it affects, not buried in a policy.
Corrections are welcome and get made at the source, so a fix reaches every page built on the same fact. If something here is wrong — a claim about what a tool does, a detail about how PDF encryption works, a step that no longer matches the screen — email hello@fixmypdfs.cc.
