Why it doesn’t upload

What happens to your file
JPEGs that need no turning or shrinking are embedded byte for byte, which is lossless and fast. Other images — PNG, WebP, HEIC from an iPhone, TIFF scans — are decoded, turned upright from their EXIF orientation and re-encoded first. Each image becomes a page of the size you choose.
