Why it doesn’t upload
The books people convert are often ones they wrote, or bought and want on another device. Converter sites upload the whole book; this one reads and typesets it in your browser, and the file never leaves your device.

- DRM-protected books — most bought from the Kindle, Apple Books or Kobo stores — are encrypted and can’t be converted. DRM-free books from Project Gutenberg, Standard Ebooks and many publishers work.
- The book is typeset fresh, so the publisher’s own fonts and decorative styling are not kept. Headings, emphasis, lists, tables and pictures are.
- Fixed-layout eBooks (picture books, comics) are made for a screen of one shape and come out as flowing pages.
- Very old MOBI files that use HUFF/CDIC compression aren’t supported yet.

What happens to your file
EPUB, MOBI, AZW3 and FB2 files are unpacked and their chapters read in order — including the compressed text inside Kindle files — then laid out at the page size and type size you pick, each chapter starting a new page with a bookmark. DRM-protected books cannot be read, and the tool says so.

How do I convert EPUB to PDF for free?

Can I convert MOBI or AZW3 Kindle files to PDF?
Yes, as long as they are DRM-free. MOBI and AZW3 are read here directly — including their pictures and cover — and typeset as a PDF the same way as an EPUB.
Why can’t I convert a book I bought on Kindle?
Books from the Kindle, Apple Books and Kobo stores are usually DRM-protected: their text is encrypted so only that store’s apps can open them. Removing DRM is something this site does not do.
Will the PDF keep the chapters?
Yes. Every chapter starts on a new page (unless you switch that off) and gets a bookmark, so the PDF has a clickable table of contents in any reader’s sidebar.
Which page size should I choose?
For reading on a tablet or printing as a booklet, A5 or 6 × 9 inches — the proportions of a paperback. For printing on ordinary office paper, A4 or Letter with a larger text size.
Is my eBook uploaded?
No. The book is read and typeset in this browser tab, and the PDF is built there too. Nothing is sent to a server.
