If the form also needs filling in
Many documents that need a signature also have boxes to fill: a name, a date, a tick. If the PDF is a fillable form, fill it first with Fill PDF Form, which lists every field with its label so it is easy on a small screen, then sign the saved copy.
If the boxes aren’t fillable fields, use Add text in Sign PDF to type a name, a date or initials anywhere on the page.
Is a finger-drawn signature legally valid?
In many countries an electronic signature — including a drawn one — is accepted for everyday agreements such as leases, consent forms and delivery notes. Some documents need more: a certificate-based digital signature, a witness, or a signature in ink.
This tool places a visible signature image; it doesn’t add a certificate. When in doubt, ask whoever sent the document what they accept. This is general information, not legal advice.
Why sign without uploading?
The documents people sign on their phones are rarely trivial: tenancy agreements, job offers, medical consent forms. Signing them on the phone itself means the document, and your signature, aren’t stored on a signing service’s servers.
