Does reorganizing a PDF change its quality?
No. Merging, splitting, reordering, rotating and deleting all copy each page’s original content into the new file untouched — the text stays text, images keep their resolution, and links on the page keep working.
Crop and resize change only the page boxes and scaling, not the content inside. If a file is too big afterwards, that is a job for compression, not for these tools.
Questions
How do I combine PDFs in a specific order?
Add them to Merge PDF and use the arrows to set the order. The merged file follows the list from top to bottom.
How do I get just one page out of a PDF?
Use Extract PDF Pages, tick the page, and save. The rest of the file is left out.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Rotate PDF and Organize Pages both let you turn pages one at a time.
My scanner saved fronts and backs as two files. Can I put them back together?
That’s what Alternate & Mix PDFs is for: it interleaves the pages, and can reverse the backs if the scanner fed them last-page-first.
